Casey Roonan is a cartoonist, illustrator, and art educator born in Fairfield, Connecticut and based in New York City. His comics explore themes related to memory and media. His work has been published by Little, Brown and Company, HyperAllergic, and The New York Times. Since 2017 he has taught both teen and adult courses on Drawing, Design, Illustration, and Sequential Art at RISD|CE, and he is currently a Design Foundation and Cartooning teacher at the High School of Art and Design in Manhattan. He is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. He lives in Brooklyn with his partner and their cat.
