Finding a job or internship is one thing, building your practice is another. Learn the difference and hear how it's done as Assistant Professor Leslie Lok speaks with Virginia San Fratello, partner at Rael San Fratello.

San Fratello is an architect, artist, and educator. Rael San Fratello has been recognized with numerous awards including the Emerging Voices Award and the Next Generation Design Award. She is also the cofounder of Emerging Objects, a pioneering design and research company based in Oakland, California, that specializes in 3D-printed materials and objects for the built environment. She recently won the International Interior Design Educator of the Year Award. San Fratello is an associate professor of design at San Jose State University. She holds a master of architecture from Columbia University.
