Underexposed: Medium's 2018 Raw Expo at Milstein Hall
This year's Raw Expo, titled Underexposed, was an exploration of "messy, edgy, raw processes" that precede a final design project or object. The expo was held on the evening of April 26 in the Milstein Hall dome and was hosted by Medium, a student-led design collective that aims to build interdisciplinary connections across campus and beyond through design.
The 2018 Raw Expo included work from more than 40 projects across seven Cornell schools and colleges including media such as user experience presented via virtual reality, hands-on interactive imaging processes, innovations in robotics such as the Cornell Mars Rover project, and the in-process proposal for a redesign of Willard Straight Hall terrace titled "The Straight Edge" that was recently approved by the Student Assembly Infrastructure Fund Commission.
