Susan Fleming: Women and Negotiations: Getting what You're Worth

Susan S. Fleming is a senior lecturer at the Cornell School of Hotel Administration. After retiring from Wall Street in 2003, Fleming began working as an educator, instructing executive investment professionals, M.B.A. students, and undergraduates in the areas of corporate finance, insurance, valuation, and gender bias. Fleming helped found a startup company in Ithaca, and currently serves on the boards of Virtus Investment Partners, Inc., and Endurance Specialty Holdings, Ltd. Fleming has been published in the Cornell Hospitality Quarterly and Psychology of Women Quarterly Cornell hospitality reports. She holds a B.A. in economics and Asian studies (highest distinction) from the University of Virginia, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in management from Cornell University.
