Stiller named university trustee

AAP is pleased to announce that Dalia Stiller (B.Arch. ’84) has been appointed to the Cornell University Board of Trustees. Stiller is an architectural consultant for Woolbright Development, Inc., the fastest growing retail real estate developer in Florida which was founded by her husband, Duane Stiller ’84. Dalia has served on the AAP Advisory Council since 2008 and has been a vocal advocate for the college throughout the university. 

Stiller becomes the sixth graduate of AAP to serve on the Cornell University Board of Trustees. Past graduates include Earl R. Flansburgh (B.Arch. ’53), Thomas Jones (’69, M.R.P. ’72), Jill N. Lerner (B.Arch. ’75), Philip Will Jr. (B.Arch. ’28), and current trustee Ratan Tata (B.Arch. ’62). 

The board of trustees appointed eight trustees this year, in addition to Dalia, the cohort includes: Nelson G. Hairston, Jr., chair of the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, faculty trustee; Darrick T. Nighthawk Evensen, doctoral student, graduate student trustee; Gene Resnick ’70, M.D. ’74 and Sheryl Hilliard Tucker ’78, alumni trustees; and Robert S. Langer ’70, Linda R. Macaulay, and Leland C. Pillsbury ’69, trustees-at-large. 

The Stiller’s daughter, Cristina Stiller '12, is a double major studying history and American studies in the College of Arts and Sciences.
