Clarence S. Stein Institute for Urban and Landscape Studies Fall 2014 Lecture Series

Sharon Zukin is professor of sociology at Brooklyn College and the CUNY Graduate Center. Zukon writes about cities, urban and consumer culture, and economic transformation. Zukin’s many books include Loft Living (1982); Landscapes of Power (1991), winner of the C. Wright Mills Award; Cultures of Cities (1995); and Naked City: The Death and Life of Authentic Urban Places (2010).
