Sabin Wins ACADIA Award

Assistant Professor Jenny Sabin, architecture, has been awarded the 2014 Association of Computer Aided Design in Architecture (ACADIA) Digital Practice Award of Excellence. The award is one of six conferred by ACADIA each year.

The awards will be presented at the annual ACADIA conference held at the University of Southern California in October. Other award winners include Zaha Hadid, director, Zaha Hadid Architects; Martin Bechthold, director of Technology Platform, Harvard GSD; Neil Gershenfeld, director of MIT's Center for Bits and Atoms; and Scott R. Marble, director of integrated design, Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation.

ACADIA is "an international network of digital design researchers and professionals that supports critical investigations into the role of computation in architecture, planning, and building science, encouraging innovation in design creativity, sustainability, and education."
