Richard Klosterman: A New Tool for a New Planning

Richard Klosterman is a professor emeritus of planning, geography, and urban studies at the University of Akron. He is the author of Community Analysis and Planning Techniques, coeditor of Spreadsheet Models for Urban and Regional Analysis, and Planning Support Systems. Klosterman holds a Ph.D. in city and regional planning from Cornell University and a B.S. in civil engineering from Purdue University. He has published widely in the areas of computer applications in planning, planning theory, and planning methods. He has server as a visiting professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Rutgers University, Hong Kong University, and the International Islamic University of Malaysia.
