Tools and Visual Skills for Photography
This two hour introductory Photoshop workshop is recommended for both entry level and intermediate level Photoshop users with a focus on color photography. During the workshop, we will look at how to properly use key tools in Photoshop and Camera Raw and will cover topics including opening a file, reading a histogram, working in a nondestructive way using layers and masks, retouching and coloring correct photographic images. The workshop will be based on finding the balance between technical aspects and the development of a personal style. During the workshop, each student will work on two raw file images that will be supplied, and there will be time at the end for questions.
