An exhibit from Associate Professor Greg Page's Large Format Print Media class was on display in Mann Library from November to March. The course focused on an investigation of erosion, and spent the fall semester examining a geological formation present within the Monkey Run natural area, a part of the Cornell Plantations.

Todd Bittner, director of natural areas at the Cornell Plantations, visited the site with the class and delivered a lecture on the site's history and geological formation. The class then produced large-scale works utilizing a broad variety of print media applications to enhance and inform the projects' unique qualities and scale.

"The exhibition highlights our investigation reflecting on the impact and dimension of erosion in nature," says Page. "This was truly an unusual opportunity to explore this unique and incredible site, with an understanding of the planets continual shifting, reconstruction, and reinventing itself over a vast amount of time and space."

Students with work in the exhibit included Subin Lee (B.F.A. '15), Jieun Lim (B.F.A. '15), and Xinyi Liu (B.F.A. '16).
