Located in New York City, MOS is an architecture practice known for producing work that challenges the boundaries between architecture, art, urbanism, and technology. Founded in 2003 by partners Michael Meredith and Hilary Sample, MOS has received numerous awards, including most recently the 2015 National Design Award in architecture from The Smithsonian Institution's Cooper Hewitt Design Museum, and a 2015 AIA New York State Excellence Award for the Krabbesholm Højskole studios in Denmark. The firm's monograph, MOS: Selected Works, was published in 2016 by Princeton Architectural Press. Their work has been exhibited internationally at the 2016 Venice Biennale and featured in prominent publications, including El Croquis.
