Mi Shih: Urban Planning in Transitional China: Rights, Property Development, and Urban Planning in Transitional China

Mi Shih is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the China Research Centre at the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia. Her research interests focus on urban redevelopment, land expropriation, civil and property rights, and state governance in China. Her current project is a comparative study on urban expansion and rights formation in Guangzhou, Nanjing, and Shanghai. She received her Ph.D. in planning and public policy from Rutgers University in 2010.
