M.F.A. Group Show: 5G

image / provided
The Cornell 2021 and 2022 M.F.A. classes are presenting a group show of new work at the Shops at Ithaca Mall called 5G. Located next to Auntie Anne's Pretzels and across from Spencer's Gifts in a former Verizon Wireless store, 5G utilizes the pre-existing architecture of a cell phone vendor to creatively fulfill the collective artists' dreams of an open floor plan, service ready, fluorescent-lit, comfort-garage adorned with artwork. Opening February 20 at 7 p.m., closing March 27, the space will be open to walk-through during gallery hours 3–6 p.m. each Saturday, and will otherwise be visible from the mall concourse. Feel free to walk by any day for a storefront view at the work being shown.
Arists include:
- Erika Germain (M.F.A. '22)
- Paloma Vianey Martinez (M.F.A. '21)
