Maria Claudia Clemente and Francesco Isidori of Labics and Val Warke: The Making of Practice
On the Steps Event Series
Finding a job or internship is one thing, building your practice is another. Learn the difference and hear how it's done as Associate Professor Val Warke speaks with Maria Claudia Clemente and Francesco Isidori, founders of Labics, a Rome based architectural and urban planning practice.
Combining the theoretical approach with applied research, Labics's field of interest extends from the interior small scale to the scale of urban masterplans, intertwining different scales and complexities. Labics has won several national and international architectural competitions, including Mast in Bologna (2006–13) and Città del Sole in Rome (2007–16). Their work has been exhibited internationally at the 2008, 2010, and 2014 Venice Biennales of Architecture.
