Amie Cunat (M.F.A. '12) is a painter living and working in New York City. She earned a dual B.A. in visual arts and art history from Fordham University and a post-baccalaureate degree in painting and drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Cunat received her M.F.A. from Cornell University in 2012, where she was also the recipient of the Baskerville Painting Award.

Cunat's recent exhibitions include Octopi Kōen (The Cooper Union, New York), Parenthetical Bounce (Court Tree Collective, Brooklyn), and Marks (AIRY Gallery, Kofu, Japan). She has participated in the Cooper Union Artist Teaching Residency (New York City), and Parsons Paris Creative Residency (Paris). Cunat, with Piotr Chizinski (M.F.A. '13), cofounded Public Access, a project space in their Brooklyn studio devoted to the exhibition of emerging artists' works. She is currently adjunct faculty of painting and drawing at Fordham University.
