The KaTi Dental Clinic, a 4,300-square-foot professional office building designed by Andrew Lucia, visiting critic in architecture, was completed and opened for business in November 2013. Located in Hibbing, Minnesota, the building is designed to take advantage of both natural daylight and the exterior surroundings. A large clerestory window and vault reside over the daily operational areas of the clinic, harnessing seasonal sun for thermal gain in the winter months, while being occluded during the summer. South facing operatory windows maximize views to a forest beyond.
