Abstract

Margherita Vicario (b. 1988) is an actress and singer-songwriter who graduated from the European Academy of Dramatic Art. For her B.A. thesis in Performing Arts, she examined the use of popular music in Brecht's political theater. She also pursued advanced study of the Dalcroze method, a system of music pedagogy that emphasizes learning musical principles through listening and bodily movement.

In 2014, she toured her first concert show, LEM LEM — Free Musical Experiments, in clubs and theaters. Concurrently, she worked as an actress in films and television series directed by Woody Allen, Lamberto Bava, Marco Pontecorvo, and Pappi Corsicato. Balancing her dual careers in acting and music, she released her second album, Bingo (Universal, 2021).
