Multiple artists' work hangs in a gallery with white walls and a light wood floor. There are collections of rectangular prints on white and brown paper, and a set of hanging sculptures shaped like faces.

In the first four semesters of the B.F.A. program, students are encouraged to take six introductory studios: drawing, digital media, painting, photography, print media, and sculpture. This exhibition showcases work solely created by students in their Introductory Studios. Many pieces were self-selected by students and made in the last two years here at Cornell.

Disclaimer: This show is heavily weighted towards printmaking and print media works due to the nature of collaborative projects and print exchanges common to the discipline. We hope to include more diverse Intro level works in future shows and aim to make this an annual showcase of student work at the beginning of each academic year!
