LABICS Claudia Clemente and Francesco Isidori: Structures and Backgrounds
Cornell in Rome Spring 2015 Lecture Series
Labics was founded in 2002 by Maria Claudia Clemente and Francesco Isidori in Rome, Italy. The office works internationally at all scales in providing solutions to contemporary architectural and urban issues. A highly collaborative, research-based design method involves clients, stakeholders and various consultants from a wide range of fields from early on in the creative process. The approach to architecture is rigorous and from the very beginning of each project their process is based on a dense intertwining between research, practice, and teaching. The work of Labics is exhibited and published worldwide and has received numerous national and international awards.
