Kudva Delivers Lecture in Delhi
Neema Kudva, associate professor in CRP, delivered a public lecture titled "History, Memory, and the City: An Urban Planner's View" in the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library's "Cites in History" series in Delhi on April 2. Drawing on her work exploring growth and planning in the city of Mangalore, Kudva's lecture explored the intersections between planning and history.
Kudva was also an invited participant in an April roundtable and workshop titled "Professionalizing Planning, Public Systems Management, and Local Governance: Meeting Domain Needs with High-Quality Programs," organized by the Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar. The roundtable brought together prominent planning academics and representatives from the government of Odisha to discuss the challenges of creating professional education to meet both Odisha and India's urbanization and development challenges.
