Jon Pugh: The Claim of International Planning

International Studies in Planning, Spring 2007 Lecture Series

Jon Pugh is an academic fellow in Territorial Governance in the School of Architecture,Planning and Landscape at the Newcastle upon Tyne. His major interests include: participatory and environmental planning in the Caribbean; the theoretical relationship between space, time and the political; an elaboration of Stanley Cavell's reading of moral perfectionism and the rise of post- and anti-political trends in territorial governance. Recently, he has been working with an international team looking at new spaces of democracy.
