International Magazine Devotes Issue to Cornell Architecture

June 13, 2006

A+U, one of the world’s most respected architectural magazines, devoted its May 2006 issue to Cornell’s architecture program and the Project Architect Symposium held here in the spring of 2005.

Coverage in the Tokyo-based, bilingual magazine featured transcripts and numerous images from the symposium, whose speakers included architects from Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Gehry Partners, Handel Architects, Herzog & de Meuron, Morphosis, NBBJ, and OMANY. Also featured were an interview with Dean Mohsen Mostafavi; essays by faculty members Val Warke, Werner Goehner, and visiting critic Mason White; and alumni recollections by Arthur Gensler (B.Arch. ’58) and Mui Ho (B.Arch. ’66).
