Fionn Meade: After Images

Fionn Meade has been a curator at the Henry Art Gallery, the Hessel Museum at Bard College, and at the SculptureCenter in New York City. Meade has curated recent exhibitions that include Time Again, with Rachel Harrison, Rosemarie Trockel, Matthew Buckingham, Laure Prouvost, Ull Hohn, Rosalind Nashashibi, and Moyra Davey; Knight’s Move, a survey of new sculpture in New York; Leopards in the Temple, with Lothar Baumgarten, DAS INSTITUT, João Maria Gusmão, Pedro Paiva, and Lucy Skaer; and a current exhibition Scene, Hold, Ballast with artists David Maljkovic and Lucy Skaer, which opened in January 2012. His writing has appeared in Artforum, Bomb, Bidoun, Fillip Review, Mousse, and Parkett, among other publications. He was a recent recipient of an Arts Writer Grant from the Andy Warhol Foundation, and he teaches in the master of fine arts program in visual arts at Columbia University and the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College. He holds a master of arts from the Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College, and a master of fine arts in creative writing from Columbia University.
