Fernando Carrión: City Renewal, Historic Preservation and Social Development

Fernando Carrión is coordinator of the Urban Studies Program at FLACSO, Ecuador and a member of the town council for the city of Quito. He has worked as a consultant, city administrator, and journalist on a variety of urban issues. His areas of expertise include historic centers, decentralization, citizen security, and urban development. He is the author of eight books and numerous articles on urban issues.
