Exhibition Abstract

Group Therapy is a hangover from college made up of my most candid pieces, which were created as I learned to work hard and still play hard. This exhibition is transparent and unapologetic, just as the people and experiences of the past four years have taught me to be. —Teagan Martindale

Exhibitor Biography

Teagan Martindale is an artist beginning her fourth year as a B.F.A. student at Cornell University. Her practice is motivated by instinct as well as her environment. Unlike many artists, her work does not have layers of conceptual background nor does it search for an answer to a question that doesn't have one. Her work comes down to the process and the fun in playing with new materials; it's the celebration of the beauty and openness of never having or needing an answer.
