AAP Connect Professional Development Series

Students are invited to meet with Diana Seo Hyung Lee (B.F.A. '08) to learn more about her path as a writer and translator.

Lee is a New York City–based writer, translator, and director of Dillon and Lee. Her writing and translations have appeared in Flash Art, the Brooklyn Rail, ArtSlant, Degree Critical, ArtAsiaPacific, Seaweed Journal, and the Forgetory, an online publication of art criticism she helped found. In addition to overseeing the gallery's operations at Dillon and Lee, Lee is the curator of the D and L Series, a cross-disciplinary platform that has presented readings from ESL or You Weren't Here, by Aldrin Valdez; Punk Ethnography: Artists and Scholars Listen to Sublime Frequencies, edited by Michael E. Veal and E. Tammy Kim; and Deep Singh Blue, written by Ranbir Singh Sidhu. Lee received her B.F.A. from Cornell University in 2008 and an M.F.A in art criticism and writing from the School of Visual Arts in 2012.

Lunch will be provided.
