D. Medina Lasansky’s book comes out in Spanish edition

A Spanish edition of architecture professor D. Medina Lasansky’s coedited book Architecture and Tourism: Perception, Performance, and Place has been published by G. Gili in Barcelona. While on sabbatical in Italy in the fall of 2006, Lasansky gave a lecture on the Fascist-period renovations of Tuscan towns at the Kunsthistorisches Institut 

in Florence. She has also contributed an essay entitled “The Architecture of Spectacle: The Partita a Scacchi in Marostica, Italy” in Travel Reports from the Deborah J. Norden Fund published by the Architectural League of New York, 2006.
