Cornell Baker Program in Real Estate: Open Session with Richard Baker '88

Please join us for an informal presentation with Richard Baker '88, a graduate of Cornell University as well as governor and executive chairman of Hudson's Bay Company (HBC). Baker has been HBC's governor since July 2008, and is also the executive chairman and was previously the CEO of the company. Baker owns National Realty and Development Corp., one of the U.S.'s largest privately owned real estate development companies, along with his father, Robert Baker. He is also the chairman of the board of directors for Retail Opportunity Investment Corp which is a REIT listed on the NASDAQ exchange that focuses on acquiring retail properties on the West Coast of the U.S.

Baker is a member of the Board of Trustees at Cornell University, and also serves or has served on several councils and advisory boards at Cornell including the Cornell Baker Program in Real Estate Advisory Board, the School of Hotel Administration Advisory Council, the Center for Real Estate and Finance Advisory Board, and the Center for Real Estate and Finance Industry Fellows.
