A conversation about publishing with Nancy Green

Nancy Green, design editor at W. W. Norton, will lead a two-part conversation about publishing. The first will address how to get published, the second will be a discussion about what faculty and students would like to see published.

Nancy Green has spent 40 years publishing books on design and related subjects. At Van Nostrand Reinhold Company she served as editor, editor-in-chief, and vice-president and publisher of a list noted for its architecture, design, and craft publications. Subsequently she conceived and ran the Design Press imprint and its successor, Design Books. Since 1993 she has worked at W. W. Norton & Company, where as senior editor she has been responsible for developing Norton Professional Books for Architects and Designers, a publishing program encompassing architectural history, design, and practice, historic preservation, urban design, landscape and interior design.
