A roundtable discussion with Cornell professors Fouad Makki of development sociology, Mary Roldan of history, and Jeff Chusid, Jeremy Foster, and Neema Kudva of city and regional planning. Panelists will offer brief thoughts on the city of the present in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East, then speculate about the city of the future. There will be time for questions and discussion.
