Christina Welzer and Jax Davies: Angels x Aliens

Angels x Aliens is the culmination of work created from a Cornell Council for the Arts grant. The work explores the diaspora of marginalized peoples immigrating to America, specifically drawing on personal experiences as first and second generation Afro-Indigenous and Asian-American women. The work featured will focus on both the structural issues surrounding these people as well as the individual narratives of these populations. Our aim for this show is to examine the junction between these structural and human injustices. We view these groups not as victims, but as individuals with resilience, agency, and pride.

Angels x Aliens features work by Christina Welzer (B.F.A. '19) and Jax Davies (B.F.A. '19).
