Chris Webster is a professor of urban planning, director of research in the School of City and Regional Planning, and director of the UK Centre for Education in the Built Environment. He has an honorary chair in the Department of Real Estate and Construction, Hong Kong University. His work has been supported by the Economic and Social Research Council, the European Commission, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and Pacific, United Nations Educational and Cultural Organization, United Nations Development Program, the Higher Educational Funding Councils for Wales and England, and the former Welsh Office.
