Bart Lambregts is senior researcher at the Amsterdam Institute for Metropolitan and International Development Studies (University of Amsterdam), where he teaches in the fields of transportation planning and economic geography. Since 1995 he has participated in several European Commission funded research projects dealing with polycentrism in North West European metropolitan regions, including EURBANET (Urban Networks in the North West Metropolitan Area) and POLYNET (Sustainable Management of European Polycentric Mega-City Regions).
