Ashley Rawlings is an editor and writer based in New York City. Living in Tokyo from 2005 to 2009, he was the editor of and edited publications such as Art Space Tokyo (2008), a guide to the Tokyo art scene, and What is Mono-ha? (2007), a catalog for a major exhibition of the late-1960s Japanese conceptual movement. From 2009 to 2011, he was features editor and managing editor of ArtAsiaPacific magazine. He is currently working on a survey of public sculpture in Tokyo.
