Emery Bergmann (B.F.A. '21) received a 2018 UnLonely Film Festival award for her viral video titled My College Transition, a lighthearted, personal take on loneliness as a first-year student at AAP created for the fall semester class ART 2701: Introduction to Digital Media. The second annual film fest is an online interactive experience and a part of the UnLonely Project, which shares diverse, inspiring stories of those who have found ways to move forward through the challenges of loneliness and isolation.

A painting by Lucy Plowe (B.F.A. '20) was used for the frontispiece of Quasi Labor Intus: Ambiguity in Latin Literature, a new book of papers by Cornell College of Arts and Sciences classics department faculty and students and others, published in June. The book is about Fr. Reginald Foster, a former Latinist to four Catholic popes.
