Anthony Vidler

Cornell Architecture Post-Professional Masters 2010 Summer Lecture Series

Anthony Vidler is dean and professor of the Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture at the Cooper Union, New York. He is a historian and critic of modern and contemporary architecture, specializing in French architecture from the Enlightenment to the present. Vidler wrote Warped Space: Art, Architecture, and Anxiety in Modern Culture (2000), and The Architectural Uncanny: Essays in the Modern Unhomely (1992).
