Andrew Berman: Work Makes the Work
Andrew Berman established Andrew Berman Architect in 1995 in New York City. The studio employs seven architects and is working on a range of public and private commissions. Andrew Berman Architect has received AIA Design Excellence Awards for Industria Superstudios Photography Studios, WhiteSpace Photography Studios, The Center for Architecture, The Grand Street Residence and Gardens, and the Private Library and Writing Studio. Andrew Berman Architect has been selected to participate in the NYC Department of Design and Construction Design Excellence Program, and is currently working with the New York Public Library, PS1 Institute for Contemporary Art, the Sculpture Center, and the Fire Department of New York on public projects. In 2009 the Architectural League of New York selected Andrew Berman to be a recipient of the 2009 Emerging Voices award. Andrew Berman received a masters of architecture from the Yale School of Architecture in 1988, and a bachelors of arts from Yale College in 1984.
