Abby Sigal: Making the Good Life Affordable

Abby Jo Sigal is vice president and market leader of Enterprise’s New York office. In this capacity, she oversees a cross-functional team of approximately 50 staff as they work with community partners, the public sector, and private capital sources to build and preserve approximately 3,000 affordable homes per year. Prior to taking on this role in 2007, Sigal served as a vice president for Enterprise Community Investment, Inc., working on strategic initiatives and overseeing deal transactions.

Prior to joining Enterprise, Sigal worked for Strategic Economics, an urban and regional economics and research firm, where she focused on affordable housing, transit-oriented development and project financial feasibility. She also served as project manager for the Hudson River Park Conservancy, where she worked on the planning and development of the $400 million Hudson River Park along Manhattan’s West Side waterfront.

Sigal holds a master of business administration and a master of city planning from the University of California – Berkeley, and a bachelor of arts in philosophy from Yale University.
