Abstract

Ripple is an exhibition showcasing the work of nine students from the spring 2025 Advanced Practice course (all B.F.A. ’26):

  • Umi Chun
  • Arden Conine
  • Ella Grimm
  • Sofie Hayon
  • Nate Jackson
  • Neba Neba
  • Dahyun Ryu
  • Ona Sanomi
  • Melaina Thompson

Ripple features a wide range of mediums, including printmaking, painting, sculpture, and digital media. Over the course of this semester, each artist was encouraged to refine their artistic practice through a series of lectures, critiques, and studio visits. The result is a grouping of works that explores figuration, observation, unseen perception and responds to the contemporary world of visual art.
