B.F.A. Thesis: North, South, East, West

Abstract

To rely on magnetic fields for a sense of direction, one must have a compass, a way of detecting the invisible fields that point us north. Deep in the earth, iron and nickel are churning. In North, South, East, West, a B.F.A. thesis show, sound reverberates from the wild, opposites touch perilously, and signifiers loom like clouds of a coming storm.
