Reference: Page Templates

Page templates are a specific type of template file that can be applied to a specific page or groups of pages. The page template can be changed in the sidebar of the Page editor. Below is an index of all the custom page templates supported on the site:

Page TemplateUsage
Default templateDefault page for any sort of freeform content. Uses the Gutenberg block editor.
Alumni Archive IndexLanding page/filterable index for the Alumni Archive with options to pin certain profiles to the top.

Should only be used once.
Alumni Archive Basic PageTemplate for any text-based child page of the Alumni Archive Index. Uses the Gutenberg block editor.
Degree ProgramAn extension of the Default template that includes degree-specific topper fields.
Events IndexSearchable index of upcoming Events that is completely configured by the backend.

Should only be used once.
Past Events IndexSearchable index of past Events that is completely configured by the backend.

Should only be used once.
HomepageCustom template for the Cornell AAP homepage.

Should only be used once.
Landing PageTemplate for department or admissions landing pages with special topper options and flexible content blocks.

Should be used sparingly.
News IndexSearchable index of News that is completely configured by the backend.

Should only be used once.
News HomeLanding page for News that allows you to curate featured News stories.

Should only be used once.
Student Work LandingLanding page for Student Work that allows you to curate featured Student Work posts.

Should only be used once.
