Contact Listings are a post type that represents any sort of contact information that can be reused and referenced across the site. It includes fields such as email, phone number, fax number, address, and operating hours.
Contact Type
The Contact Type taxonomy can be used to categorize Contact Listings. For example, you can assign all location listings (ex. Bibliowicz Family Gallery or Abby and Howard Milstein Auditorium) a Contact Type of Location.
Usage
Degree Program Toppers
You can select from all available Contact Listings when setting up a Degree Program Page under the “Contact Info” field. In the specific case of the degree page template, only the contact’s title and email address will display.
Event Locations
When creating an Event page you can select a location from any Contact Listing tagged with the Location Contact Type.
Contact Block
You can also embed a Contact Listing on any Gutenberg page or post with the Contact block.
