Speaker headings are for interviews/transcribed stories. By hanging the heading in the left-hand margin, the reader can refer to each section’s speaker without being interrupted by prominent inline headings.

Guidance
- When adding headings to a long transcript, it’s easiest to insert one block for each speaker, then duplicate them (with
cmd–shift–D) and re-position them above each text block as needed.
