Landing pages for departments, offices, and other academic units are a good place to surface popular, important, or recent content. The blocks below let you insert content by reference, so that the “source of truth” is maintained with the content type no matter how many times it gets embedded in other contexts.
A tease block with the Manual curate content? toggle active allows you to select and order each item individually. In this mode, some blocks also have an Override Defaults toggle; use it to tweak a headline, shorten a description, or swap the thumbnail asset.
Finally, most of these tease blocks also let you automate how they are populated, for example to fetch the latest news stories tagged with Architecture, even as new stories are published. In this automated mode the block populates directly from the source item’s data (no overriding is possible).
