Higher Education Opportunities Program
The Higher Education Opportunities Program (HEOP) provides eligible New York State students with comprehensive services to ensure their academic success despite disadvantages based on educational or economic circumstances. HEOP is administered through the State Programs Office and AAP’s Offices of Admissions and Student Services. Eligibility is determined by New York State’s residency and economic requirements. AAP offers supplemental support services to HEOP students in the college.

Pre-Collegiate Summer Scholars Program
The Learning Strategies Center sponsors the four-week Pre-Collegiate Summer Scholars Program to enhance the performance and preparation of selected first-year students enrolling in the fall. Students are selected by the college during the admissions process and are pre-enrolled in academic classes to advance their degree progress. Specialized college programming augments university programming.

Cornell Future Architect Award
The Cornell Future Architect Award (CFAA) is a merit-based award specifically designed for students who have shown an interest in and a talent for design and architecture, and may not otherwise be able to attend the four-week precollege summer program. Participating in a summer program provides high school students with exposure to the rigors of a professional bachelor of architecture degree program and helps them to prepare elements of a competitive portfolio for application to design-based programs.
