Attend an AAP Information Session: Undergraduate Students Only (Registration Required)
For prospective undergraduate students considering programs in architecture, fine arts, or urban and regional studies, an AAP information session is the best place to learn about the programs and ask questions before starting the application process. Information sessions are offered on Monday and Friday mornings at 10:10 a.m. from May through mid-November. You must register for an information session online in order to attend.

All of the undergraduate colleges at Cornell conduct group information sessions. Students interested in academic programs in the other colleges at the university are welcome to register and attend. In addition, the Undergraduate Admissions Office offers general group information sessions throughout much of the year. These general sessions provide a broad overview of Cornell and the admissions and financial aid processes.
Graduate Student Visits
AAP encourages all prospective graduate students interested in architecture, art, and planning to visit the campus. To plan a visit, contact the individual departments directly.
Schedule an Interview
Several AAP programs require an interview for admission. Interview requests can be made beginning in August for undergraduate or graduate admission.
Take a University Campus Tour
Student-led walking tours of the university are available most Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays, for most of the year. The tours last just under an hour and are designed to provide an overview of the entire Cornell campus. Prospective students should review the calendar of walking tours very carefully before planning a visit.
Visit Studios and Classes at AAP
A visit to the art and architecture studios in Olive Tjaden Hall, Milstein Hall, Rand Hall, and The Foundry, where students spend much of their time, is an ideal opportunity to talk with current undergraduates about their experiences and get their impressions of life in the college. Prospective students can also attend a class in a relevant subject area. Class listings are available online and the Undergraduate Admissions Office.
Explore Other Cornell Facilities
An expanded tour of AAP can include a visit to Cornell’s Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art (closed on Mondays), one or more of the many libraries, or the Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts, and a meal in one of the many dining halls.
