Building Better Futures To Do The Greatest Good 

As part of the university-wide To Do the Greatest Good campaign, AAP and its community of alumni and supporters are helping to advance the college’s Building Better Futures priorities and initiatives:

Affordability Initiative

To honor Ezra Cornell’s vision of “… any person … any study” and support the creative capacities of each and every AAP student, the college has begun an initiative to increase the number of scholarship funds available to undergraduate and graduate students and enhance the student experience across all five departments.

Renewing Our Core Spaces 

Sibley Dome Renovation

The renewal of AAP’s historic Sibley Dome revitalizes an essential space for teaching, learning, convening, and collaborating across the college. Your gift in support of this key capital project will positively impact our entire community and help support the academic and creative excellence that defines our legacy and shapes our future at AAP.

AAP Annual Fund

Gifts of all sizes matter year after year to Cornell AAP. The AAP Annual Fund offers the college the resources to respond to immediate and unforeseen needs, such as sending students to a design competition, providing faculty research seed funding, or supporting student peer career advisors. Your annual fund gifts impact the AAP community by enriching the lives of our students and faculty in ways that would not be possible otherwise.

Annual funds are critical to the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning. These funds enable us to respond immediately and purposefully to emerging opportunities, address challenges as they arise, launch initiatives, and support our talented faculty and students. Ultimately, they propel us forward.

Research and travel costs for off-campus learning in AAP’s Cornell in Rome program are supported by the Annual Fund.

Annual funds have enabled the college to update and enhance equipment and technology in our Autodesk Design and Make Space.

Gifts to the Annual Fund boost the college’s ability to remove significant financial barriers for all AAP students.

Cornell AAP is committed to raising philanthropic support for our core areas and other key initiatives that will make an impact on the next generation of creative leaders during their time on campus and beyond.

Student Support Fund

The AAP Student Support Fund addresses critical but often overlooked student needs that fall outside traditional financial aid. From winter coats to conference fees to emergency travel assistance, this fund has become a vital safety net to help students navigate unexpected challenges and seize important opportunities during their time at AAP. What began as a B.Arch. Class of 1984 initiative has evolved into an annual end-of-year tradition, uniting the entire AAP community in a collective effort to pay it forward. As demand grows for this essential resource, we aim to ensure its sustainability and reach. Your gift joins a community of alumni and friends who believe that no AAP student should face financial barriers to their success.
