Stay Connected
Whether you are an alum, parent of a past or current student, a friend of the college, or a leader in the disciplines we teach, there are many opportunities for you to stay connected as a member of our AAP community.
Volunteer
Help provide guidance and career pathways by becoming a mentor, hosting students at your studio or gallery, and posting internship opportunities.
Reunion
As an AAP alum, Cornell Reunion weekend offers exciting opportunities to reconnect with fellow graduates and experience the college’s latest creative achievements. We hope you’ll join us for our annual AAP Reunion events. All Reunion activities, including AAP-specific events, can be viewed through Cornell’s reunion website.
If you’re approaching a milestone reunion year and want to make a lasting impact, consider becoming a class leader for AAP’s reunion fundraising efforts. Our development team can help you coordinate with your class committee and provide guidance on cumulative giving goals, which track total class contributions across multiple reunion cycles.
Let us know if you’d like to lead a class fundraising effort by emailing aapalum@cornell.edu.
AAP Advisory Council
The AAP Advisory Council is the college’s primary advisory group providing strategic counsel and support to the dean and other leaders at AAP. Members are leaders in their respective fields and serve as ambassadors for AAP, helping to expand the college’s network of supporters to advance our mission and support a culture of philanthropy. Learn more about the AAP Advisory Council.
Parents and Families
Parents and families play a vital role in their student’s Cornell journey. As students make their mark on Cornell and the world, we hope AAP parents will form their own lasting connection to the university that helps future generations of Cornellians thrive.
Join other Cornell parents, caregivers, and families for family events throughout the year, including Family Weekend, a cherished tradition for connection and celebration.
Parent programs like Cornell Family Fellows and the Parent Leadership Council (PLC) offer more access and opportunities to build community and make an impact.
The Cornell Family Fellows program recognizes families who make an annual gift of $15,000 or more to any area of the university. Family Fellows are invited to exclusive events, including a special spring weekend on campus, regional gatherings in New York City, and webinars hosted by university leaders and faculty members. These events offer personal interactions with university leadership, seminars with top faculty, and opportunities to engage with other families who share a commitment to Cornell.
The PLC is a group of parents and family members who actively participate in leadership and philanthropic efforts to support Cornell’s mission and enhance the overall student experience. Member involvement includes fundraising, event planning, and providing insights from a family perspective.
