The AAP IT Solutions team supports students, faculty, and staff by building, maintaining, and securing the digital infrastructure that powers daily life at the college. From classroom technology and identity-aware tools to custom web applications, we design and operate systems that keep AAP running.
We develop and support a full suite of tailored applications — including the AAP Store platform, AAP HERE attendance, NYC HS Program admissions, Kintsugi Portal, imAwake polling, HourSwap, Tooling Hub, PoodleDoll scheduling, AAP Bookings/Knock-Knock, AAP Where, and numerous faculty-specific tools, each built to meet real needs. Our team oversees the servers, databases, cloud environments, APIs, and DevOps workflows behind these systems, along with security and compliance frameworks.
We also support physical teaching and learning environments at AAP. Whether custom classroom setups, computer repair, event AV and streaming (and remote), custom event support, exhibition assistance and planning / execution, and more, we pride ourselves in our flexibility and ingenuity. If it’s part of your pedagogy, position, or coursework, it’s our responsibility to support you.
We are a partnership-focused group: we work directly with faculty, students, and administrative units to understand their routines, challenges, and creative processes. By combining engineering, design, and operational expertise, we deliver reliable technology and user-centered solutions that enhance teaching, learning, research, and the overall AAP experience.
