In this exploration of urban compression in the City of Ithaca, parallel walls start to deform as they compress spatial volumes. Each wall materializes a physical section cut that defines and divides space; program carves out spaces through these walls and circulation ties them together. The walls then act as a series of inside-out facades, multiple elevations encountered sequentially as the viewer progresses through them, conceptually compressing the city within its own visitor center.
